Minuteman National Historic Park












In April of 1998, I was hired by Minuteman National Historic Park to work as a Park Ranger for the National Park Service.

Minuteman NHP is where the first shots of the American Revolution were fired. This is the old North Bridge.

Kat and I are standing next to the statue of the minuteman soldier. The inscription reads:

By the rude bridge that
Arched the flood,
Their flag to Aprils
Breeze unfurled.
Here once the embattled
Farmers stood,
And fired the shot heard
Round the world.
